New Acer Aspire One (AO725-0899) - Touchpad not functional

EDIT: One Thing - Fn+F7 Oye!! Works now

I have just installed 12.04 on a brand new Acer Aspire One. However, my touchpad does not seem to be working. When I dig into system settings, it says "ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad". Here is the cli info:

    Code:
    x=dpich@Ace ~/Documents $ xinput list
⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
    ⎜ ↳ ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad id=13 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Logitech USB Optical Mouse id=10 [slave pointer (2)]
⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
        ↳ Power Button id=6 [slave keyboard (3)]
        ↳ Video Bus id=7 [slave keyboard (3)]
        ↳ Power Button id=8 [slave keyboard (3)]
        ↳ Sleep Button id=9 [slave keyboard (3)]
        ↳ HD WebCam id=11 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ AT Translated Set 2 keyboard id=12 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Acer WMI hotkeys id=14 [slave keyboard (3)]
    dpich@Ace ~/Documents $
So that to me means the system at least sees it. But it doesn't 'do anything'...

    Any help would be appreciated.

Now that I've gotten to work with this thing a bit, I am finding that every time I boot, I have to press 'Fn+F7' to get the touchpad working.

Is there any setting or any method to get this to happen automatically on boot?
