Tty sessions when trying to shut down my pc

    Hi,

I have the following issue when I use kubuntu on my real pc but not when i use it on virtualbox on the same machine. When I do click to shutdown the pc a windows appears that says that there are some tty sessions opened and ask me to accept or not. Did someone find the same thing?

Did you go to a tty while on the desktop and then just return to the desktop with out existing the tty? If you did, then the tty session is still 'active' and thus the message. If you accept the message, the tty sessions will be closed and the shutdown will proceed.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007

umm... I have been careful and I tried everthing again to answer you and i think that it's something related with the livecd. I thought that on my virtual machine it worked fine installed and with the livecd, but not! with the liveCD I get the same behavior. Since i used the liveCD on my real pc, I think that if I install kubuntu I won't get that behavior.
