A question about partitioning for an dual install

I will look in to what I have to do to get rid of the Windows partition.

That is simple, delete or reformat the partition that windows is on. or just mount it and delete the files on it to get rid of windows (though the drive will still be ntfs this way).

gparted or partition manager are the simplest ways to do this.
