Migration from Kmail to Evolution

Hi,
I would like to migrate from Kmail to Evolution. I found out that both email clients use the maildir format to store emails. So it should be easy to migrate. I already was looking for the email files of Kmail at ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail2/. But I couldn't find any file? Where does Kmail store the email files? And where do I have to copy them to that Evolution will find them and implement them?

Hi,
I finally decided to stay with Kmail. Evolution crashes every time I create a new item in the calender with never ending annual occurrence. Kmail at least runs stable. And i can go around that bug (word wrap in composer). But of course I would like to know where Kmail stores the emails to create a copy on a stick.
