Noob question here

I have tried several linux distros over the past couple years and decided to have a go at it again. After 11 weeks of waiting I igot my Kubuntu 6.06 lts in the mail. I received 5 cds but none are labled which cd is which. I have a clean install of windows juast the way I like it on one hard drive and I want to put kubuntu on a second drive.

How do I know which CD is which, just dont want to screw up my clean windows install.

All the 5 CDs are identical. Kubuntu only has one CD installer. So you basically have 5 copies to give away.

The Kubuntu installer will autodetect your Windows installation and will make an entry for it in GRUB.

Just a word of caution: The installer will automatically install GRUB on the MBR of hda1.

I hope you still backed up your important data. Backing up before any installation is wise, no matter how good the installer is.
