    Re: WINE for kubuntu?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but kRO won't work with wine. Actually, anything that uses GameGuard won't work.

The only way you could play Ragnarok Online is with a private (a.k.a. illegal) RO server.

But you're welcome to try it out yourself. Wine is easily installable from Add/Remove Programs or Adept. You just have to enable the universe repository.

Did you already enable the universe repository? Did you click on "Fetch Updates" after enabling it?

                Re: WINE for kubuntu?

Open up Adept. (K Menu > System)
Go to the Adept menu and choose Manage Repositories
Look for the line with "deb http://__.archive.ubunt.com/ubuntu/ dapper universe". It will be probably grayed out.
Right-click on that line and choose "Enable"
Click on Apply (at the bottom), then Close
Click on Fetch Update in the toolbar. Once it's done, you'll be able to see Wine.

                    which one don't you see?

Ok, press Alt+F2 and type in adept,
Then the Adept menu is the first menu from the left.

well, substitute the "___" for whatever is there, like us.archive.ubuntu or gb.archive.ubuntu, etc...
