office 2010, winetrick and kubuntu 12.04 64bit

I just ran into this exact same problem regarding msxml6. I was wondering if there was perhaps an update on how to fix this issue.

I have a (legal, off of Amazon) downloaded .exe file of MS Office 2010 so I can't use playonlinux. I was wondering if I burning an ISO image of the .exe file on a dvd would make POL work, and if so how I could go about doing that.
