Short answer would be YES presumming you have at least 128Mb of ram as well, kubuntu will install, might take some tweaking to get to run fast but should be ok none the less.

Also note that the Desktop CD installer needs 192 Mb of ram, if you have less, use the Alternate Installer CD instead.
