Cannot update from source files in kubuntu 12.04

cannot update using MUON update manager in Kubuntu 12.04

it shows the following error

There is currently no Precise repo in the kubuntu-backports ppa that you added , so disabling it will fix the error.

there is nothing to backport yet, as 12.10 is still on KDE 4.8.3
When 4.9 is built for Quantal 12.10, it will eventually be "backported" to Precise 12.04. There will be an announcement if or when this happens.
