sudo: unable to resolve host bonerville

This is a newbie question so I thought I would post it here.

I just installed 12.04, seems great. My hand slipped as I was putting in my computer name, username and password and i accidentally deleted half my computer name when I install Kubuntu.

Anyway, I changed it to the name I wanted by editing /etc/hostname

Now, although i can sudo install things I get the error sudo: unable to resolve host bonerville - I think it's related to how I reassigned the computer name.

Anyone know how I can fix this.

No, my computer is not named bonerville.

Solved. I missed editing the file /etc/hosts -- oops.

    Found here: http://www.liberiangeek.net/2010/06/...04-lucid-lynx/

    sorry for the bother.
