Will the beta automatically upgrade to the final release?

So, basically this is my question.
I've just finished installing Kubuntu 12.04 on my laptop. It is the beta 1. Will it automatically be upgraded to the he final release or will I have I download the final release when it comes out and do a fresh install? Thanks

Yes, it will. You will see upgrades to the packages right in the core repository until after Beta 2, then it will upgrade like a regular release (with updates in the -updates, -proposed, and -backports repos).
