Need to do a Fresh Install Kubuntu 11.10 64bit on a RAID1

I have a Asus M4N98TD EVO Motherboard. It has a NVIDIA nForce 980a chipset for a raid controller. I have searched the forums looking for a way to install Oneric onto this RAID1. Unfortunately, I haven't found an answer. I've tried the LiveCD and the Alternate install to no avail. The alternate does not show anything other than installing fake raid.

Is it possible to install 11.10 on a RAID1? It has to load drivers I'm assuming.

Look for articles on how to install to "Fake" RAID, that's what your kind of RAID is called.

Unless you're using windows on the same computer, you're much better off using linux software raid instead of your motherboard's RAID.
