Strange... I don't know what is going on. You should consult
        Code:
        man hwclock
experiment with available options and see what works on your system.
Ok, got it: Ashes come from burning.

One last thought. Try setting correct time in bios first. Then
            Code:

            sudo hwclock -s
            sudo hwclock --adjust
            then logoff/logon.
Ok, got it: Ashes come from burning.

Wait, in the popup you have Zagreb (or whatever): <correct time>?

In Digital Clock Settings > Time Zones, what is the setting of "Clock defaults to:" at the bottom?
I'd rather be locked out than locked in.

Oh dear, thought you've set that properly too. That way you can have several time-widgets showing time in different cities.

Can that be achieved with windoze clock?

Eww, a windows screenshot on kfn! At least it's in virtualbox

Can Windows yet show seconds in the time in the system tray?

I have liberally sprinkled this forum with such shots ever since my arrival. Not like I enjoy it or anything, you know.

Not natively. Some third-party clock replacements can.

                            Such as Linux?

Curses, my secret is out! It's precisely because Windows resolutely refuses to display seconds in the task bar clock that I've spent the last two and a half years dilligently teaching myself an entirely different operating system and devoting countless hours to this here forum.

                                Has it been that long?
