Can't update to Thunderbird 1.5.0.5

Hi,
I've been trying to update Thunderbird using both Adept and Synaptic. Both state that 1.5.0.5 is available, but when I install I still have version 1.5.0.2. Any suggestions?

Strange indeed, what do you get after:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Do you get any errors?

Just tried that. Here are the final few lines of what I got in the Konsole. Strange indeed.

Hmm...I don't use thunderbird so I can't tell if there is something wrong in the package that prevents the upgrade...or is it just your system.

You do have 'dapper-security' repository enabled and a working connection to it?

You could try reinstalling thunderbird or downloading the deb package and installing it manually.

Any other tb users having problems upgrading?

I just did all the recent upgrades (on dialup!!! ug!!) and my TB is at 1.5.0.5 in the about box

I've tried uninstalling Thunderbird, again both with Synaptic and Adept, and that's not working either. TB still runs. I'm obviously missing something somewhere. I've been able to upgrade in the past and have no worries with Firefox. Bizarre.

I reinstalled Kubuntu Dapper and TB updates no problem.
