Wireless NIC's - Low Profile/Small Form Factor- Opinions Please

Hello all:

Recently built a new computer using a MicroATX MB into a Small Form Factor case, running Kubuntu 11.10; VERY pleased with the performance of the hardware and the O/S, but I'm seeking opinions (from more advance users than myself) on the best wireless NIC to install into the new box.

I've done my research, thru Wiki's wireless NIC chipset comparisons to find out which are supported, which require 3d party software, etc., but I would appreciate some real-world advice on selecting the make/model of the NIC that is:

1. Easiest to install and configure
2. Consistently reliable performance
3. All in a Small Form Factor (or includes the SFF plate with the package)

I'v had good luck with Linksys stuff ........I have one of these in a desktop and it works perfectly

I am having excellent results with:
TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND Ultimate Wireless N Gigabit Router
but it was purchased some time ago.

The next wifi router I will buy will be 100% IPv6 capable.

I'm using a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54GL

The on-board OS is Linux (gotta love that!). I replaced (flashed) the firmware with Polar Cloud's Tomato firmware and have had no problems at all.

Only Vinny recommended a wireless NIC.

Others recommended ROUTERS (?)
