Hi,
I've been using Kubuntu for a couple of months now on an Acer Aspire 5820T with no problems, and love it.
The system has no native bluetooth device, so I purchased a Rocketfish Nano bluetooth dongle.
This installed with no problems and I was able to pair with all my devices, however, I could not connect to them for file transfer, audio streaming etc and kept receiving a message that the connection timed out.
I read a message on this forum to try and remove the native KDE bluetooth manager and try installing Blueman.
I removed Blue devil and all associated to the bluetooth stack, re started and now I can't get past the login gui login screen.
I enter my password a terminal window appears then it returns to the login splash screen.
I'm fairly new to Kubuntu and Linux and want to avoid having to do a re install. I also dual boot with windows 7
What's the quickest and easiest way to resolve this?
Please help, thank in advance.
Miguel
