Changing
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
To
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=
then running sudo ` update-grub " works well on a HDD installed , ubuntu say ,giving the traditional
rolling messages.
When I do the same on a live edition using persistence on a USB stick , update-grub gives
` /usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: cannot find a device for / (is /dev mounted?). ".
Could someone kindly give me some guidance , please ?
