Confused about what file to download to get iso image of latest Kubuntu

I would like to install Kubuntu alongside my Win 7 64-bit installation to be able to choose between the two, using a dvd, but I am confused as to exactly what file I need to download.

I found instructions on downloading Kubuntu on this page, and the instructions there point to this page, which is the Ubuntu site with instructions about Ubuntu. I understand that Kubuntu is based on Ubuntu, but from what I read, I'm not positive that what I would be downloading, based on the above links that I followed, I would be installing Kubuntu.

Can someone please clarify this for me?

    Thank you.

Use the first link you mentioned. When you click it, you should see:

Click the inviting "Download Kubuntu" button. Then you should see:

Click the "Begin download" button. I tried it just now, and the Kubuntu ISO began downloading. Since you have a 64-bit PC, I'd recommend ignoring the recommendation, though...get the 64-bit version.
