I have been using two other distros and decided they weren't quite working out for me. So I installed ubuntu on my other computer and loved it immediately. So I decided to put kubuntu on this computer. And I love it. I have browsed the forums and have already learned to
1. Install and use synaptic (feels better than adept)
2. Enable universe and us repositories (they have some packages I need to install some tasty apps)
3. Edit kmenu (just in case an app I install can't find its way there)
Now I just need to go about installing my favorite apps and making sure all of the codecs I need get installed. Thanks for your help!
