How can i fix this thing up?
I have 2 OS'es on different harddrive. WinXP and Kubuntu 11.04 ...
and I use grub as the main bootloader for the selection..
the problem is that my WinOS messed up and I ended up reinstalling its OS but (to my stupidity) I forgot to remove first my Kubuntu drive...
which messed things up, and I cannot boot on grub, I can only boot on winXP.
I try to use the live CD(USB to be exact) to fix things up using command 'grub' but grub is not installed(I have no internet on that machine so i cannot apt-get grub),and I have only read access to my Kubuntu drive.
also after using grub-install on my drive it also mess the the bootloader for the live USB...
I cannot mount my other drives formatted by kubuntu(Ext4). it seems i have no rights to these drives
another thing as I look at the partition manager my kubuntu drive only shows free space and no active partitions.. is this another problem?
please give me some other solutions ... thank you for your help...
