Partition manager error when partitioning drive

I am trying to use the partition manager. Kubuntu is installed on sda1 (swap on sda2)

I have a second hard drive sdb, and I want to re partition it. I unmounted it. When I create a new partition and apply, I get this error.
What am I doing wrong?

were you trying to create a partition in "unallocated space" or did you just click a existing partition and try to remake it.....because that dont work.
you first must delete existing partitions(you will lose all data in it) and then create one or more in the unallocated space.

+ keep in mind you can have only 4 primary partitions .....if you knead more the 4th one kneads to be an extended partition that will hold as many logical partitions as you want (to a point)

Yup, I deleted the partitions, then created new, but got the error.
