I'm trying to copy files into a programs folders. The program is bluej, and it doesn't allow to me to place the files in the folders. I tried to change the folder owner but it didn't work

Unix:
Run the installer by executing
java -jar bluej-213.jar
From: man sudo
sudo allows a permitted user to execute a command as the superuserBefore you edit, BACKUP !

chmoding a system folder or file can wreck your Kubuntu installation. I would advise against that approach, even though it could "work" in the short term.
