Amsn Was Installed But where is it?

Where can it be, i have tried, holding alt + space then typing amsn, but it just isn't there, where do you think it is?

If you have any solutions do not hesitate to post :P

    Thanks, in advance ¬ Josh

    Hi Super josh39

But is it installed? Do you have Synaptic Package Manager? Can you do a search for amsn in Synaptic?

Gaim or Kopete should produce the same results.

Is the box in Synaptic green to show that it is installed, or is it white to show that it is not?

I find that when I install new apps Katapult (Alt-Space) doesn't pick them up straight away. Logging out/in should fix this. On my system, aMSN is in K-Menu>Internet.

If it's installed correctly you should be able to run it from the terminal with the command: amsn

If that works but it hasn't appeared on the menu you could add it there yourself (right-click in 'K' icon)
