    Problems booting up!?

Hello, i am very new to kubuntu, but i had ubuntu before, so i get the basic idea. Anyways, when i booted up kubuntu for the first time on my laptop, it was taking forever! So i figured i'd just shut it down manually and reboot it back up. (Bad choice?) Now when i boot up it tells me "the ntfs partition is not cleanly unmounted..." Any help?

you will nead to run "chkdsk" on it (the ntfs partition) from windows or "ntfsfix" from the package ntfsprogs in linux.
