    Can I re-try upgrading to KDE 4.7?

    Hi
I am using 11.04 and tried upgrading to 4.7 a couple of weeks ago via the Backports PPA.
At that time, my install hung at 79% and moved no further forward.
I am new to KDE/Kubuntu and am unfamiliar with how the Backports PPA works and if any amendments//corrections are made to it to iron out bugs etc.
Would it be worthwhile me trying again now or would my previous issue indicate that my system is unable to cope with the upgrade at all?
    Appreciate any advice at all

Same thing happened to me when using the 64 bit edition, I don't remember having that issue when i was using the 32 bit kubuntu a few weeks ago. I left it at 75 or 76% for over 30 mins then i restarted the computer and checked updates there wasn't any and things seem to be working fine. Not sure why it stopped, or if it was complete and the progress bar just stopped. anyone else know?

Many of us experienced the same thing and were able to recover. See this post.
