Network Manager in Kubuntu 11.04

Hi

I just installed 11.04 on a new laptop and I can't figure out how to use the network manager.

I've added my wireless network and it is show along with the wired network. But I can't figure out how to connect to the network. If I click on it, the details page is opened with a status of "not connected". When will the network manager connect to the network? Is it maybe because the attempted connection failed. But then, shouldn't it be indicated somewhere with some indication as to what went wrong?

When you click on your WLAN Interface, does it show networks in the "Connections" tab? If so, just click on the network you wish to connect to. If nothing shows, make sure your interface is up with "ifconfig".
