Hi all,
have quite a big problem.
Had to get a little bit "advanced" video player (playlists etc.). Found Kaffeine - seems like nice video player.
There is just one problem - it does not work!

Had to get a little bit "advanced" video player (playlists etc.). Found Kaffeine - seems like nice video player.
There is just one problem - it does not work!
What I noticed
- It doesn't matter what kind of file I open ==> screen is black.
- Something isn't right with Settings tab!
I have only 2 options:- Configure Shortcuts
- Configure Kaffeine
- When I open something lower panel (where you can forward video) is going in some random increments. And it is greyed out! (See attachment)
- Technical:
- When I open DVDRip type movie process: kaffeine-xbu uses 20-40% (while slider in lower screen grey are is moving toward end; when it finishes process: kaffeine-xbu, just disappears (meaning - it dont use even 0%)
- If I watch on widget called http://www.incunabulum.de/blog-archive/kde-plasma-hacking-the-cpu-and-system-viewer"]CPU and System Viewer[/URL] it graphically "says" that my PC utilizes 50-60%
..
..
I have Intel Pentium D 820 2.8GHz. So, 40% is too much for DVDRip quality movie..
Searched in forums found only few posts (related somehow probably) --->

I now find that Kaffeine no longer works, ie black screen and no sound.
I am hoping that both of these problems are related to me using the wrong video driver. I would like to know how to get the correct video driver for my card so that Kaffeine, Gimp (and GoogleEarth) work correctly.

There is something about Xine. Do I need install additionally this called "xine" in order to work Kaffeine?
