HELP ASAP!! anything I install will not work.

I recently installed Kubuntu the newest version I don't have it off the top of my head, I am running a 64bit version and I have windows on a raid systems on 2 other disks running in stripe mode. I had to rebuild the windows boot manager for the raid system so I could get back into windows. Anyway what is happening is when I try to do any updates they fail, telling me I am missing certain files I will post at the bottom. This also happens when I try to install any software I want to put on. I have tried to install Wine so I can run Windows programs and games but it fails, I really do not understand the sudo-ap thing it is German to me. I want to learn how to use Ubuntu but I need a good site with step by step info for newbies and maybe videos on this OP System. I self taught myself about PC's and Windows so this shouldn't be a problem I just need the right info to start with, there is so much crap on the net about Ubuntu and Kubuntu that I am lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been told the help with Ubuntu is incredible that there are hundreds of people that wanna help so I thought I would start here. Like I said, updates and new software will not install. Here is the info I copies from the Terminal installer thing,

    Processing triggers for initramfs-tools ...
    update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.38-10-generic
-cryptsetup: WARNING: failed to detect canonical device of /dev/sde1
-cryptsetup: WARNING: could not determine root device from /etc/fstab
mdadm: only give one device per ARRAY line: /dev/md/STRIPE and ARRAY
    -Warning: LBA32 addressing assumed
    Fatal: raid_setup: stat("/dev/sde1")
    run-parts: /etc/initramfs/post-update.d//lilo exited with return code 1
    dpkg: error processing initramfs-tools (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
No apport report written because MaxReports is reached already

    Errors were encountered while processing:

These are the files I need to fix they are the ones that come up every time I try to install anything on Kubuntu and usually make the packedges fail from installing. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! REALLLY PISSING ME OFF

    linux-image-2.6.38-10-generic
    lilo
    linux-image-generic
    linux-generic
    initramfs-tools
    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

ANY HELP WOULD BE SO APPRECIATED,
    THANK-YOU: Jason
