I have a big problem!
Hoping to try out a "Live CD" version of Kubuntu, I downloaded the latest version, burnt it and clicked run . . . . .
I have done this with many other 'live cd' versions of Ubuntu and others and all they do is run off the cd and ---- don't write anything to the hard drive ------.
When all I got was a blank screen, I figured there was an incompatability with my FirePro graphics card (have had this before), so I shut down and went to bed.
When I turned on my system (***the one I work on every day and earn my living with***) IT TURNS OUT THIS "LIVE CD" WRITES TO THE HARD DRIVE.
So, now I have a Grub taken over my boot, with no seeming way of getting rid/out of it.
Can someone please advise how I can get my Windows 7 back up at boot and clean off whatever was installed?
And why would anything be installed anyway?
Thanks
