I currently have a couple of drives in a LVM. I was thinking of putting another drive in my system for Windows for gaming. So I'd have four physical disks.
This is the complicated part... I will want both Kubuntu and Windows to be able to read the Storage A/Storage B combination. I thought about putting them in a RAID and formating the partition as NTFS as linux support for it is fairly good these days. But I've never had very good luck with raid disks in Kubuntu. But this is prior to Maverick and Natty.
I know... It's working now under LVM. Why mess with it!
- Disk 1 - Kubuntu Natty
- Disk 2 - Windows 7
- Disk 3 - Storage Disk A
- Disk 4 - Storage Disk B
