I just downloaded the latest version of Kubuntu (11.4?) and after some finagling I got it installed and running. The problem I am having right now though, when the computer (Dell Inspiron laptop) goes into hibernation, it won't wake back up, I am having to shut the computer off and reboot every time. Any ideas?

Re: Cant Leave Sleep Mode
the main reason for not coming back from sleep are
video driver not working correctly w/ powerstates
other acpi issues with your hardware.
if you have a properitary video driver it might not work, if you have an old enuff video card it may not work,it could be an issue w/ acpi setting in your bios. but unless you provide some more hardware info noone can help you much more then that.Mark Your Solved Issues [SOLVED]

Re: Cant Leave Sleep Mode
my laptop also did this, and i just took sleep mode off. right click your power bar somewhere around
your timeclock if you still have the widget and check your settings.
i have mine to turn off display when lid closes and to sleep/hibernate never.
it gives you a lot more options to save power other than sleep hibernating
and i personally never liked the whole sleep/hibernate idea on any o.s.
i still keep "when power is critical" hibernate however.
