    Adobe flash player

    Hi,
It looks like that I have a problem with Adobe Flash Player plug-in for mozilla. Although I have installed the Installer websites tell that the newest version is missing. I downloaded the "install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz" file and followed the instructions of the readme file. But I am not able to copy a file into the root/urs/lib/kde4 folder. What can I do? Is there another way to install the newest flash player needed for some websites?
    Regards, Sigurd

    Re: Adobe flash player

you need to install (from your package manager) the flashplugin-installer. this is not windows you will have almost all the software you need availble to you thru the package manager.

from a command line you can use

    sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer

be sure you dont have a browser open and have an internet connection. this will install v. 10.3.181 (as of yesterday)

      Re: Adobe flash player

I have the same problem with Flash Player only in Konqueror(KHTML) at some websites. Btw. after upgrade to new version of Flash, Flash Player in Konqueror is crashing always. So Konqueror now is unusable absolutely. Firefox still OK.
