    Live USB Problems...

I keep getting this error after I get the boot screen:
    Code:
    stdin: error 0
I'm trying to boot Blackbuntu. Any idea how I can solve this?

Oh, and this is on an Aspire One laptop.

Details provided are not enough. How did you make your live usb? Did your boot from iso or copied the iso content?

Really? Not enough info? I thought I made it pretty clear what I've done here. I downloaded the ISO, made a live USB of it with a startup disk creator, when I made the live USB everything installed correctly on it, bootloader and all. I've never heard of anyone making a live USB by simply copying the ISO onto a USB lol.

It appears to be a known bug in the casper system: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/500822

Look at the last 2 replies on that thread.

If you don't mind a little more manual exercise, there are other ways to make a bootable USB stick: http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3107512.0

I think there is a bug in startup disk creater but not sure in which version of ubuntu.

Yes you can but not simply by copying. You need to use Grub 2 as boot loader.

With my little knowledge on grub 2 and bash i have created MultiBootUSB script with simple GUI. Forum thread can be found here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1518273 but unfortunately Blackbuntu is not supported at the moment.

Anyway coming to the point use some other method to create Live USB (either use Unetbootin (windows version) or multisystem) then try to boot from usb.

Also there are number of times i got this error and error got disappeared after rebooting twice or thrice.
