hibernate in Kubuntu 11.04 doesnt work

i usually hibernate my laptop. but just a few days ago i did it kubuntu and when i reboot to Kubuntu partition the Kubuntu desktop doesnt show. it tried to boot itself several times but i couldnt show me the password prompt. any idea??
