Installing

After upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04 the only thing that showes on the screen is this:

GNU GRUB version 1.97 beta4

[Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB device/file completions]

Why can i not login with password and username?

You apparently have a problem with the designation (in the grub files) of the hard drive partition on which the Linux kernel is located. You also have an outdated version of grub-pc:

however, I don't think that is directly the cause of your problem. Has this system been upgraded before? What was the original OS?

Thanks for answer. Original version was ubuntu Karmic koala installed kubuntu lucid lynx and upgraded to maverick meerkat and upgraded to natty narwhal. Everything worked just fine until i upgraded to natty narwhal.
