I know I'm chain-posting here, so I hope the admins don't get annoyed, but I want to know how to move widgets from one desktop to another and can't find anything about it with google searches.

Re: Moving widgets to different desktops
Concerning widgets and different desktops, you can do one of several things. You can first go to 'system settings'->'workspace behavior'->'virtual desktops' to turn on and off the option different widgets for desktops. You can turn it on to have two completely different desktops if you wish.
I don't know if its possible to drag a widget from one desktop to the other, what I do know is that you can the same widget as many times as you want[or until your CPU can't handle it anymore, whicever comes first] and you can then go to each desktop and customize it.
There are some good plasma-desktop forum posts explaining it in more detail, I'll see if I can procur at least one for you in the future to further explain thingsComputer Lie #1: You'll never use all that disk space.
FATAL SYSTEM ERROR: Press F13 to continue...
The box said, "Requires Windows 7 Home Edition or better" ..so I installed Linux
My software never has bugs. Re: Moving widgets to different desktops
As Linkmaster said you can do it through the systems settings. I have found that you are not able to drag the widgets from desktop to desktop. However, if you do have a second monitor you can drag them in between(they act as the same desktop just extended) but be careful because I lost a few widgets in the empty space between my monitors.. To put different widgets on different desktops I just go to the desktop, open the widget menu, and drag which ones I want on to the desktop. I do that for each desktop.

You wouldn't need to drag widget anyway. The widgets show up on all desktops. The unjust distribution of goods persists, creating a situation of social sin that cries out to Heaven and limits the possibilities of a fuller life for so many of our brothers. -- Archbishop Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Buenos Aires (now Pope Francis)

There is slightly odd behavior when you hit the change-over point (I use nvidia's twinview) - you have to drop the widget as soon as you cross over, but you can re-select it and drag it wherever you want after that.
