    Kubuntu and Nokia E52

Hi everyone, I tried Kubuntu on a Sony Vaio VPCEB4B4E and everything works just awesome BUT. I need to use a Nokia E52 as a modem and when i connect it to Kubuntu it recognize it but it doesn't really work. I can set the number and the APN but nothing.
With Ubuntu i've got no problems and it's easy to install it and to configure it and it works good enough.
    Can you please help?

First, do you connect to it through knetwork-manager? also, what do you mean by "nothing"? This is a fairly nondescript word, and gives no information that others can work with. And what does "number" mean as well? Are you referring to an IP address?
