I just installed PokerTH. There is hardly anyone on the default server. Are there any other publicly available servers?

I do play on PokerTH every so often, which version do you have? It's likely that you're using an older version.
The latest is 0.8.3 and, if I remember correctly, the version in the repository is somewhere around 0.7.x
If you go to www.pokerth.net, click "Download", there is information on how to get it set up under Ubuntu (if you're not running the Alpha 11.04 version). It requires adding a new repository and updating the game from there.

Yes, thank you. I now have the latest version installed.
My googlefoo found that there was a newer URL for the serverlist address which is pokerth.net/serverlist.xml.z. After I placed that in, I have all kinds of peoples to play poker with.
