Hello this is my first post and I would like you to guide please. I have a doubt about version 10.10 Maverick Meerkat. Will it ever has a LTS version And how long this version will last

Release Naming Scheme

The official name of an Ubuntu release is "Ubuntu X.YY" with X representing the year (minus 2000) and YY representing the month of eventual release within in that year. Ubuntu's first release, made in 2004 October (10th month) was Ubuntu 4.10. Hi and welcome!

From my understanding, non-LTS versions never become LTS, so if you're seeking a version that has LTS, then you should install 10.04.

However, if you wish to install 10.10, access to the repositories shouldn't end in April, 2012 (at least I hope not,) although I don't know if the security updates will continue.

Yes and no. This is free world and the Ubuntu is a free software. You could use it after the April 2012 if you want to BUT

With the Ubuntu this means that the security bugs are not fixed and the repository is removed.
