KDE Control Module

I am using kubuntu 10.10 and trying to configure the KDE Control module
However it says that I need to press the administrator mode button.
Where is it?

Hmmmm....

KDE control - I thought that was a kde3 component that got dropped when KDE 4 came out. Are you using the kubuntu trinity edition by any chance?

Here are 104 KDE Control modules available.

How are you trying to use it ?

Konsole command:

:~$ kcmshell4 --help
Usage: kcmshell4 [Qt-options] [KDE-options] [options] module

A tool to start single KDE control modules

Options:
--list List all possible modules

Arguments:
module Configuration module to open
--lang <language> Specify a particular language
--silent Do not display main window

:~$ kcmshell4 --list
The following modules are available:
kwincompositing - Configure desktop effects
display - Display Settings
autostart - A configuration tool for managing which programs start up with KDE.
ebrowsing - Configure enhanced browsing
kcm_phonon - Sound and Video Configuration

With the System Settings there should be password query if the admin right are needed.

With the Login screen / Login manager there should be password query before saving.
