I am completely new to Linux and Kubuntu. Currently, after my installation and I tried it out for first time, my screen is completely off. It thinks my monitor is bigger than it really is. ( I am using Laptop) There is estimate and inch to two inches of screen below that I cannot see. To the right, there is around a centimeter I cannot see. Can anyone provide assistance? Thank you

Re: Screen Fix
Look in System Settings > Display and Monitor and verify the settings being used in Size & Orientation are correct. Here, on my Toshiba Satellite 17" laptop, under LVDS1, Size is 1440x900(auto), Refresh is 59.9 Hz, Orientation is No Rotation, and Position is Absolute 0 0.Windows no longer obstructs my view.

Re: Screen Fix
Ok I followed all instructions but this is what happens. I choose the new settings, then it zooms in on my already small view making ti even smaller. Then when i press revert back to old settings, it gives me a 5 second glimpse of what the desktop should look like with everything in view before zooming in again
