    Kget start problem... [SOLVED]

    When I downloded Kget, it worked fine some days but lately I found that it doesn't start, neither from menu nor from CLI/terminal >
    when I ran it from CLI I've got this msg:

    ~$ kget
    QMetaObject::invokeMethod: No such method KUniqueApplication::loadCommandLineOptionsForNewIn stance()

    ~$ QWidget::insertAction: Attempt to insert null action
    QWidget::insertAction: Attempt to insert null action

    When checking in system monitor the process exists so only thing I could do to kill it...

    However, if I ran it like root (kdesudo) it started

    Any ideas what to do, how to restart it or restart any config? Due I've uninstalled and again installed but didn't help me
    Thanx.

    Re: Kget start problem...

    Well, ladies & gents

    I was trying
    kget --help
    and read various stuff and got an idea to lookup any file which would look like a config file

    I've found a file "kgetrc" in "/home/my_account/.kde/share/config/"
    and opened it like root (although now I'm thinking of that I could open it like myself, right? )
    and I've changed there these items:

    ShowMain=true ...there was false

    FirstRun=true ...there was false

    I've imagined I could force it a first run like scenario and maybe I'd kick it up.

    Yep, kget started and then after exit I've tried it again and again, it seems it works, although it's a bit confusing if you have to be cooking

    If you have any idea why I've got that above mentioned error, do not hesitate to inform.
    Hope, this my cooking will help someone too, if she/he will get to trouble
