32 bit or 64 bit? Install instructions are different depending on architecture.

Not really. The package flashplugin-installer - which can be found and installed in KPackagKit -- will install Adobe's official flash plugin, no matter which type of system. (64bit flash is still in beta) . You can also get this by opening Konqueror web browser - if flash is not installed, it will ask you if you want to install it (along with some other useful things). No need to download anything manually

Yes, this DOES install the 32bit flash and needed compatibility bits, but it does seem to work quite well for most. If that does not work, then perhaps the not-quite-a-easy to install 64 bit flash can be tried

My experience is that the 64 bit plugin is far superior to the 32 bit when running a 64 bit system. But that's just me. YMMV.

it sure may, but wouldn't it be easier for the OP to try the 'standard' methods first?

OK, but hearson, if the 32 bit plugin does not seem to be working for you get back to me and I will help you install the 64 bit if you have a 64 bit install.
