Can I include a USB drive in /etc/apt/sources.list?

Or maybe in any of the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ files... If possible, how can I do it? I don't want to burn too many CD's or DVD's and later regretting it because something failed with the image or the medium...

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

    Yes and no .

Yes, you could have a local repository on the USB drive but the sources list (d) will point to the mount point /2/.

    Local/Personal repository:

    (it is in the repositories)

I have not tried if this really works with the USB but the home page tells:
...you choose the type of media...
