REal player problems Unsolved ,,Help PLZ

.. when i select to install Real player it says that I have a software conflict..with another application and the other application has to be removed before installing real player... I removed all the MEDIA devices .. that could cause software conflicts .... and STILL no luck.. installing real player ... WHY?

What file or software is it ... it will not tell me which one to remove so i can Install the real player.... I removed these proigrams not permanently just the software....

How to add more repositories in Kubuntu.
This is a quick guide to show you how to enable access to more repositories (over 18K packages).

1. Open Konqueror and go to /etc/apt/
2. Right-click sources.list, choose Actions-->Edit as Root
3. Input your password then click OK


4. Remove all text and paste this in:


## Add comments (##) in front of any line to remove it from being checked.

5. Close KWrite and choose Save
6. Open Konsole by clicking K Menu-->System-->Konsole
7. Input 'sudo apt-get update'
8. Input your password (apt-get update will update the repository list on your PC)
9. Once you see 'Fetched xxxB in xxxs (xxxB/s) Reading package lists... Done' then you can close Konsole



Now you have access to over 18K packages.

With regard to Real Player see the Real Media Section of the Restricted Formats page at the Ubuntu wiki.

As for changing repositories, the best method is to use Source-o-matic at the Dutch Ubuntu Linux site. It sets your repositories to the local mirrors for your country.
