What launches files downloaded from PlayDeb.net?

I stumbled upon playdeb.net this afternoon, and when I click on a game (Vdrift for instance), A popup comes up asking me to choose an application to open for this link.

Uh, what do I select? it's a deb file, but I don't know what to select from the various submenu's.

I cant get the website to work eather ........BUT after adding the repo and restarting .....a seartch in synaptic get's the game/app listed.

Ok, downloading them from Synaptic also works for me, so I'll just go this route. Thanks!

You can get apt:// links working in kubuntu by installing 2 packages

sudo apt-get install apturl firefox-gnome-support

Don't forget to reboot firefox after you install them.

worked like a charm

had the firefox-gnome-support didn't have the apturl .....go figure
thought I had both already
