Hi everyone, I was hoping you guys could help me a font problem I'm having.

After switching to the recommended nVidia driver for my Graphics Adapter in order to improve performance for a couple of games I was trying to run under WINE all of my fonts appear larger. My Google-fu has revealed that other people have had similar problems with their DPI settings after changing to nVidia drivers and I have tried to solve the problem myself, but so far I have been unable to get very far because I unable to use the startx command and I get the error:

    Code:
    Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock
        and start again.

     for help.

Further googling showed that other people have also had this error, but no one of the solutions I've seen has been very helpful and I don't feel comfortable forging ahead alone.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to be able to continue using this driver because outside of this problem with the fonts I'm happy with it.

Disregard above, I've fixed it. Just going System Settings > Appearance > Fonts and forcing Font DPI to 96 solved my problem.
