Hi there!
I am trying to connect my Toshiba Satellite laptop to (basicly anything, but it's my cell phone) via bluetooth.
The "wireless" LED in the panel of my laptop is on.
But in the KBluetooth widget all options are greyed-out, even the widget icon itself is grey.
Playing with the command line terminal gives the following:
:~$ service bluetooth status
* bluetooth is not running
:~$ service bluetooth start
:~$ service bluetooth status
* bluetooth is not running
I then quit the Kbluetooth widget, and started it via the command line teminal:
:~$ kbluetooth
Connecting to deprecated signal QDBusConnectionInterface::serviceOwnerChanged(QStr ing,QString,QString)
kbluetooth(1616)/kdecore (KLibrary) kde4Factory: The library "/usr/lib/kde4/solid_bluez.so" does not offer a qt_plugin_instance function.
:~$
What does this mean? Why can't I use the bluetooth?
What to do to get bluetooth activated?
Please remember, I am a "new guy", a step-by-step explanation would be highly appreciated!
Thanks a lot in advance!
