    .sh files; how to use/install?

I just downloaded JavaFX. It's a .sh file. How do I install it?
    Thanks,

    Personally - I wouldn't do that. I'd use sun-java from the repo.

    However - your answer is

    ./somefilename.sh

    or

    sh somefilename.sh

The instructions are next to the link for the download. However, here is the direct link: To install the Linux (self-extracting) file
