How do I run Konqueror as root in order to edit the config files that only root can access?

    Not root but:

type in the konsole: kdesu konqueror

    Before you edit, BACKUP !

Why there are dead links ?

        A combination of Rog131's and MrENoon's suggestions:
Press Alt+F2 and type in kdesu konqueror.

Btw, if you only need edit config/text files as root, you don't need to open up Konqueror as root. In a normal Konqueroro, just right-click on the file you need to edit, click on Actions > Edit as Root. As easy as that.

Doh! I forgot all about kdesu...thanks for reminding me, it's a much nicer way.
